The Shandong Provincial Shooting and Cycling Sports Management Center is a professional sports management institution directly under the Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau. It is responsible for the training, competition, and talent development of shooting and cycling sports in the province. The center primarily focuses on shooting (rifle, pistol, trap & skeet) and cycling (road race, track race, mountain bike, BMX) events, aiming to enhance the competitive level of these sports in Shandong, cultivate elite athletes, and achieve outstanding results in domestic and international competitions.

Main Responsibilities

Athlete Training & Management

Oversees the selection, training, and competition participation of the provincial shooting and cycling teams to improve athletic performance.

Develops scientific training programs incorporating advanced techniques to enhance training quality.

Competition Organization

Hosts national and provincial-level shooting and cycling events to promote the sports' development.

Organizes youth competitions within the province to identify and nurture young talent.

Talent Development

Establishes a youth training system and collaborates with local sports schools and clubs to cultivate future athletes.

Provides academic and career development support for outstanding athletes.

Venue Management

Maintains professional training facilities, including shooting ranges and indoor/outdoor cycling tracks, to meet training and competition needs.

International Exchange

Strengthens cooperation with the General Administration of Sport of China, the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to advance the sports' development.
