Foreigner non-criminal certification is one of the important materials that Chinese companies need to provide when they help their foreign employees apply for Z visas, work permits and residence permits, and when foreigners apply for Chinese permanent residence ID cards (Chinese green cards). 1. Request the relevant government departments of their own country to provide official certification materials to prove that the foreigner has no criminal facts in his home country or place of habitual residence.

Certification process

1. Issuance of the original certificate of no criminal record: Usually, it should be issued by the police or background investigation agency in the place of nationality or habitual residence of the foreign applicant.

2. Notarization and Authentication: Notary Public or Authorized Department of the country where you are located, and then hand over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country for authentication. Finally, the notarization and the certified documents issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are taken to the Chinese Consulate for authentication.
